PRACTICAL MANUAL DESIGN OF RCC STRUCTURE

There is a huge gap between information gained by civil engineers in higher institutions of learning and core practical knowledge which is expected of professionals in the industry. However, during the reinforced concrete design (RCC) intensive training program, the participant(s) would learn all the Fundamental concepts of Latest Structural engineering design techniques of analyzing and designing various structural elements in accordance with relevant codes of practice.

If you are not quite competent in practical engineering calculations, the global elastic analysis of indeterminate structures then you DEFINITELY need this training.

Recently there has been a lot of growing emphasis on the use of finite element techniques and based applications in carrying out structural analysis. This is totally acceptable, so long as the engineer is not using the application to do something he doesn't understand. This course covers practical manual calculations to ensure that the client understands the fundamentals of what he does.

Course Outline:
  • Fundamentals, Code Requirements for structural Designing of low rise & Multistory Buildings
  • Concept of Designing,
  • Deciding Columns/Beams/Slabs locations,
  • Orientation of Columns,
  • Different Load estimations,
  • Different Types of Slabs/ Beams/ Columns/ Footings.

Program Objective:
  • To understand in details, cogent Structural Design Concepts
  • To Fill in the Gap between Theoretical & Practical Knowledge
  • To understand the step-by-step methods of Structural analysis
  • To understand the Analysis and Design of Multistory Buildings & Commercial Complexes
  • To Realize Every Civil Engineer’s Dream of becoming a Structural Designer

Who should attend?
  • Diploma/B.SC/B.ENG./B.TECH Civil Engineers
  • Students/Fresher’s/Experienced

Advance Your Career with Continuing Professional Development(CPD)

What is CPD?

Broadly Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is any activity engaged in by a qualified professional through which they continue to develop professionally.   CPD is about learning and development that enhances the participant’s effectiveness in their professional role.  This should maintain and enhance existing competences as well as developing new knowledge and skills. It should not be exclusively about formal courses or qualifications (although these can be a valuable element of CPD), and may involve development in both technical and non-technical areas. CPD includes a wide variety of activities such as open learning, private study, trainings, work experience and many more.

Why should I do CPD?

As a professional, you have a requirement to keep your skills and knowledge up-to-date. CPD is an opportunity to develop yourself; the nature and measure of the benefit depends entirely on you. The credibility of engineering society is based on the willingness of each professional to embrace new skills, knowledge and experience.

Benefits of Continuing Professional Development
  • Displaying greater level of competence
  • Becoming more efficient
  • Gaining a better understanding of your role
  • Showing your employers that you are dedicated to your career
  • Creating opportunity for career advancement or promotion
Continuing Professional Development Plan
  • Make a list of all the areas in which you need to be competent at work.
  • Write down any skills you would like to acquire to advance your role.
  • Look at your development needs in the areas in which you may be lacking or need improving.
  • Think about your ambitions and goals and the time period in which you want to achieve them.
  • List your CPD priorities for the second half of the year.
  • Take action in order to achieve your professional development needs.

Whether you are preparing to add to your professional credentials or acquire industry current knowledge, skills and experience in a specific field of interest, Gold Gate Engineering Institute offers career-focused contimuing professional development programs for today's dedicated professionals.

We offer the following CPD'S

1. Process Piping Design with PDMS
2. Process Engineering Modeling using HYSYS
3. Structural Analysis & Design using STAAD.Pro
